Abingdon

Set in traditional English countryside, just eight miles south of Oxford, Abingdon is one of Britain’s oldest towns, with ancient streets and riverside walks just waiting to be discovered.

It’s in this picturesque setting that you’ll find our study centre. Here you can enjoy being part of the compact study centre that focuses on our chiropractic and healthcare programmes, and get the hands-on experience of treating patients from the community in a working Chiropractic Training Clinic.

"I suffered an injury and ended up going to see a chiropractor. I developed a fascination with what was being done to the body, what could be done just by using your hands and how much benefit you could get, or I could give people as a result of a chiropractic treatment. From the time I found out about chiropractic I just fell in love with it. The approach, the philosophy, the style of adjustment, the benefit that could be achieved and everything else seemed to fit." Larisa Bogle Integrated Undergraduate Masters in Chiropractic (MChiro) student

If Valerie could choose three fantasy dinner guests, past and present, who would she choose and why? · Einstein (I’d love to know who cut his hair) – I not only admire his science, but love his world view and would love to just sit at a table and listen to him · Barbra Streisand – seriously to pick her brain about music and ask her to sing something special just for me · My mum – I’d like to thank her for her love and all she taught me when I didn’t even realise I was learning What is Valerie’s favourite food? Does “all” count? Thai cuisine if I have to pick one, Italian if it’s homemade How would Valerie describe herself in three words? Geek (I am thirsty to know…); approachable; fun-loving
