"I’m happy I secured a place to study psychology at BPP University. I’m studying a degree that’s related to health and leads to a career I want. The lecturers arrange for speakers to come in to give career talks specifically aimed at psychology students, which is really helpful. I’m also a Student Ambassador for Psychology so I’m hoping I can get a bit more involved.” Halima Khan, BSc (Hons) Psychology student

Eat & drink

  • Koshari Street, Covent Garden A small canteen-style cafe serving Koshari (an Egyptian snack food, a warm mix of rice, chickpeas and macaroni, topped with fresh tomato sauce, typically sold from street stalls and hole-in-the-wall takeaways).
  • Honest Burger, Soho These burgers are legendary in London for their thick patties and fresh chips cooked with rosemary. Burgers range from £6.50 to £11.
  • ChettinadThis Indian restaurant offers its meals in a moulded, airline-style tray, of a nibbly starter, three curries, raita, a roti and rice, for £3.75 (vegetarian) or £3.95 (meat).
  • Southbank Southbank has been a trendy place for young people to gather for many years and its selection of bars and restaurants is extensive. Although a little expensive such prices are akin to those you would find elsewhere in London, and worth it for the interesting things which are consistently going on there.
